Program of Responsible Care - Responsible care in chemistry

The program of Responsible Care is globally accepted and built-up voluntary initiative of chemical industry, concentrated on support of its maintainable development by helpful increase of safety of its operating equipment, product transport and by improving health and environmental protection. The program represents a long-term strategy, coordinated by the International council of chemical industry (ICCA) in Europe by the European council of chemical industry (CEFIC).

Member companies will set their own goals in their Programs of R.C. and sequential steps to their fulfillment, in conformance with the valid law regulation and with economic possibilities. They will set more exacting material and/or time objectives, depending on their position in the region, in effort to increase its credibility towards citizens in the neighborhood and toward their employees and company prestige in commercial relation. The company evaluates the scope and extent of fulfilled objectives, including index numbers of records. After dialogue with the community, the data summary, comments and external reminders are assessed by employees' representatives and if possible, also by regional authorities.
