The policy of safety, health and environment

To whom it may concern,

CS Cabot, spol. s.r.o. Valašské Meziříčí was established in 1991 as a joint venture of CABOT Corporation, Boston and DEZA a.s., Valašské Meziříčí. This joint venture was formed in reaction to quality changes in the Czech rubber industry and the quality requirements of world-class suppliers of carbon black. The production of carbon black at CS CABOT, spol s.r.o. was launched in 1994 as one of the six carbon black production plants in Europe. We supply carbon black to the producers of tyre and technical rubber throughout Central Europe.

Carbon black is currently produced on three production units where CABOT best technologies are applied. These technologies meet not only the highest quality requirements for all manufactured grades of carbon black, but also the strictest health, safety and environmental requirements. The replacement of two old (Deza) production units with new CABOT ones and the fundamental reconstruction of the third unit have significantly improved the surrounded environment.

As a result of success in the area of safety, health and environment protection CS CABOT spol. s r.o. has vindicated for the fifth time in a row the ownership of Responsible Care Certificate – Responsible Businesses in Chemical Industry with the right to apply its logo until 2013.
